This great old postcard was mailed in 1912 and shows the very busy platforms 1 and 2 at Paddington.For those of you not familiar with the station, it was built in 1838, although much of today's buildings date from 1854, having been designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel
. The station was the London terminus of the Great Western Railway
. Trains still run from here to Bristol, Bath and the west of England.
